Oahu Beaches: Ali'i Beach Park

This beach is noted for its surfing, breath taking sunsets, and watching the huge winter waves. Surfers frequent this beach as it has some of the best waves on the island. The beach can be prone to strong currents. During the summer months the waters here are quite calm and the best swimming is in the protected bay on the south side of the beach. Note that swimming is not recommended during the winter months. Be sure to explore the nearby historic town of Hale'iwa, which is the surf capital of Hawaii.
