Windward Oahu is perfect for water adventures such as swimming, kayaking and snorkeling. Maybe you would rather kick back on one of the windward shores breath taking white sand beaches. Whatever the case the east shore is definitely worth visiting.

Located 30 minutes from Waikiki and Honolulu, Oahu’s east shore is made up mostly of quiet suburban neighborhoods and makes for a beautiful, scenic coastal drive. Small quaint towns are nestled between the 3,000 ft Koolau Mountain Range and miles of pristine beaches.

We recommend taking the drive to the north shore via the windward coast. It will take longer than going through central Oahu, but it is one of the most scenic drives you will ever take. Make sure to experience the small towns along the way.
