Looking To Save Money On Food While On Vacation?
Posted by Al'i Beach Rentals | Friday, July 12, 2019

Most of our Vacation Rentals come with a full kitchen, but not all of them. So if you like to cook meals to save money on dining out, when you book your next vacation rental, make sure to check that it comes  with a full kitchen!

While traveling, it sure helps to save a lot of money by making a couple of meals at home. Some people prefer to eat breakfast and dinner at home, but eat a nice lunch while they are cruising around Oahu.

To each their own, but I prefer to make breakfast, pack a lunch, then catch a great happy hour somewhere and enjoy the sunset at a nice restaurant in Waikiki.

Regardless of which meals you choose to make or choose to dine out for, a lot of our guests ask us, "where is the nearest grocery store?".

If you are a Costco member you can visit Costco Iwilei, there is a Safeway close to Waikiki on Kapahulu Avenue, Foodland Farms at Ala Moana Shopping Center, or there are smaller ABC stores located all throughout Waikiki, which are great for grabbing a quick inexpensive snack. If you are looking for natural foods, there is a Down To Earth near the University and there are two Whole Foods Markets, one is located at Kahala Mall and the other is located in Kaka'ako.
