Iolani Fair this weekend near Waikiki
Posted by Unknown | Friday, April 25, 2014

This Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th, check out the Iolani Fair near Waikiki.  It starts at Noon and ends at 10:30 p.m. each day.  This year's theme is Circus Dreams.

There will be midway games and rides as well as a marketplace selling homemade jams and jellies, cookies, kim chee, and more at the General Store. You can also find beautiful plants, handmade quilts and goods, ‘Iolani logo items, and one-of-a-kind crafts. Whether you are a sweet tooth or a green thumb, the Marketplace has something for everyone!

There will be parking but it will be hard to come by so it will be better to take a taxi which should be only about $10-$15 from most of our Waikiki Vacation Rentals.  You can also take the bus.  Just take the #2 or #13 bus going away from Diamond Head (heading Ewa) until the Crown restaurant at Kapiolani Blvd and Kalakaua Blvd. Walk to the bus stop on Kapiolani Blvd. and catch the #3 bus. Get off at Kapiolani and Kamoku Street, or on Date Street and Laau Street. Entrances to the school are on Kamoku Street or on Date Street.

It's another great family friendly activity that supports the local community while also being super fun!
