Do I have to quarantine in Hawaii?

Not if you have been fully vaccinated within the United States. As of July 9, Hawaii ended its pre-travel testing and quarantine requirement for certain domestic travelers. Fully vaccinated travelers from the US do not have to quarantine for 10 days, or provide a negative Covid test result, upon arrival.

How do I show proof of vaccination?

Before arrival, your vaccination records must be uploaded to the Safe Travels Hawaii portal. You also need to have a hardcopy in hand upon arrival.

Do I have to quarantine if I’m not vaccinated?

If you are not vaccinated, you can bypass Hawaii’s quarantine requirements by having a negative Covid test result from one of the Hawaii approved test partners no more than 72 hours before the final leg of your trip. Without a negative test result or vaccination card, visitors must quarantine for 10 days upon arrival.

Additionally, different islands have developed their own precautionary measures. Please check the State of Hawai‘i’s Safe Travels Hawai‘i website before your trip for the latest information.

Do I have to be vaccinated to dine at Oahu’s restaurants?

Yes, currently you will need to be vaccinated to enjoy indoor or outdoor dining unless you are age 12 or younger. You may use your physical vaccination card or a photo of your vaccination card with your photo ID as proof of vaccination. This does not apply to take out food. for more info visit One Oahu's website.
