This 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom condo is an end unit where the owner just refreshed the condo with fresh paint and furniture. Condo comes with a full modern kitchen, a/c in bedroom, large lanai, and did we mention the view? Being an end unit, our guest will soak in a 180 degree view starting from the Ko'olau Mountains and merging into the deep Pacific Blue Ocean! Feel at home with HD cable TV, FREE high speed internet and but its on the edge of Waikiki & Ala Wai making it more secluded but close enough to be experience Waikiki's "City Life." It is a short 5 minute walk to the world famous Waikiki Beach.

The location is perfect (445 Seaside Avenue)! Walk to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in about 5 minutes and the newly renovated International Marketplace in about 5-7 minutes. All of Waikiki's best beaches are just a few minutes walk away!
Take a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool, or relax in the sauna and jet spa. Have a quick workout in the gym before you swim too!

The sleeping arrangements are convenient with a King bed in the bedroom and sofa sleeper for an additional guest. There is a big a/c in bedroom, that could cool the entire condo, but there is NO a/c unit in living room.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Colony during our 2 week vacation in Waikiki. We had a few issues with the suite which I sent an email to Alii Beach Rentals about when we were back in the evening (we're from Canada so I didn't have access to call them). They responded right away the next morning and had someone come that day to fix and assess our concerns. I loved the service from Alii!!
As for the condo unit itself:
The Good: It was updated, roomy, and decorated nicely. It had a great view of both the ocean and the canal. The elevators were fast (unless it had to stop at multiple floors; there were 43 floors to this building), the amenities were nice (pool, BBQ, small fee for gym and laundry), and a security guard at the door. It was really close to walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants - what have you. We took the bus to several attractions and the bus stop was only a block away so super convenient. Sweet Home Cafe on the same block of Seaside was our absolute favorite restaurant on our trip to Oahu! Nordstrom rack can be seen from the condo window ;) We were super close to the International Market and felt safe there. The closets were huge and great for us to tuck our luggage out of the way.
The Bad: it has a full kitchen less an oven, but you'd want to use the BBQ outdoors for heat anyway. The sofabed wasn't soft and my children didn't feel comfortable in it - I think it'd be worse for adults. The blinds kept falling down and didn't close properly so it was a bit bright in the morning making it difficult to sleep in (but Alii was looking into repairing this), the shower had very light water pressure so we didn't feel really clean, the vaccuum kept kicking sand around when we tried to clean up so didn't work well, all the linens and towels were white and we were really scared to get then dirty so we re-used the same 2-3 towels our entire time there, it was a bit noisy because of the wind & it's Waikiki but we just used e
