This location is in the heart of Waikīkī , so everything is within walking distance. Outside your front door is the ocean and on several occasions we were lucky enough to see the turtles feeding along side the small breakwater in front of the condo, and afterwards you have the grounds of Fort DeRussy to walk around nighttime there are many of the hotels that offer live local musicians and great food while you watch the sunsets over the ocean. A great way to relax and enjoy Hawaiian time.

Location was great! Building has direct access to the beach. Lots of action happening in the area if you are looking for a lively time. Parking is very limited try to avoid renting a car. We arrived during Tsunami warning and they made special accommodations to allow us access late which we really appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay in Honolulu at this condo. The pictures of the condo were accurate, even the picture of the table on the lanai facing the ocean. The condo was very clean, the kitchen had all the necessary dishes and appliances, the bathroom was stocked with towels, and the air conditioner worked great. The Ali’i Rental staff responded promptly to my questions and was very helpful and friendly. The location and the view of the ocean was perfect. I will definitely consider renting this condo again on a return trip to Honolulu.

Communication with the host was excellent. Everything in the unit was exactly as presented. View picture in the posting is fully accurate. Amazing! Starting my morning with a coffee, watching the waves crashing. It’s a little cozy, but I would expect that with a condo in such a prime location. Excellent value for the money. Steps to everything. To give a description of this view still would give this review no justice. The views from this balcony are just perfect. The ocean, the sunset & park views with the beautiful trees are perfect & relaxing. Don't over pay for your stay somewhere else that will not have what this property gives you! You are steps from the beach & everything else! This location is the best!

Great time. We know this location because if staying next door at the Outrigger Beach Hotel. Nice Beach, our room had a balcony and every day we would have our coffee and enjoy the morning. Nice interior of the room very comfortable, plenty of towels, some nice "Beach equipment".Very good security.

This place was awesome! Literally on the beach and within walking distance to many shops/restaurants. We had a blast. The rental is well stocked with everything you will need. The shower needs some maintenance/upgrades but it worked. It appears the kitchen and bathroom got nice new counters, fixtures and cabinets since these pictures. Bed was comfy and the unit was very clean and very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again. The Ali'i staff was also amazing and made sure we were taken care of. Mahalo

As soon as we got to the condo our host was waiting for us. He helped with getting our luggage to the room. He was super nice. The property was the same as it looks in Vrbo, very nice. The property was in a very good location, you could walk to most everywhere. We chose not to rent a car, but the taxi driver who picked us up at airport was nice and if we needed transportation he would always come and get us and bring us back to the property. If you ever go to Hawaii things you must do, Pearl Harbor, Luau, tour of the island and snorkeling. I celebrated my 60th birthday there and it is by far the best vacation ever.

What a great location. We were just a short distance from the beach with a deck facing west for stunning sunset views. The condo was well equipped if you wanted to cook rather than dine out. We had internet and cable TV. The support staff was great and made quick work of a minor issue with the shower head. I would rent this unit again.

As always We we’re very happy to finally return home everything the same except could tell now since we haven’t t been for 3 years that mattress still hasn’t been replaced and now not a comfortable place to sleep. Glad to see awning gone much brighter and cleaner. Thank you to Rita and staff they are always so helpful in anything we need or questions. It was a great stay awesome weather and could not imagine not having this home to come to.

The rental was perfect for what we needed: close to the beach, close to food, and quiet enough for when we wanted to stay away from everyone. Ali’i beach rentals made sure we were taken care of and we even got beach towels and gear to use. Couldn’t ask for better at such a great price.

We had a great week! Our accommodations were clean an comfortable. We fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. Our daily morning coffee and view on the large lanai was relaxing and beautiful! We walked or rode down 1 floor to walk directly onto the beach. We set ourselves up on the sand and grass area of Fort DeRussy Beach Park. We walked to Tropics bar and Grill and Rum Fire both with ocean view. Our shopping excursions were walking distance to our favorite ABC Store and through the city, with several stores to the International Market Place. We were lucky enough to pay for parking on site,which made our off site excursions easy to load and unload. We visited the North Shore, with turtle encounters, snorkeling at Sharks Cove and shrimp trucks for dinner while watching a beautiful sunset! We will recommend this condo to family and friends. We passed the driveway entry but Rington from Ali`i Beach Rentals was in text and phone communication with me to assist us with unloading and entry to condo. Mom is already trying to get her husband to take her back! We'd love to stay here again!

This condo was a nice, clean and had beautiful view. It was a short walk to get to the beach and everything else Waikiki had to offer. There are so many bike stations close that makes it easy to get to everything. The parking is pricey anywhere there. We’re looking forward to coming back!

The location is fantastic. The lanai has a wonderful view of Ft de Russy park and the beach, and it's relatively quiet and chill. There are many vendors and things to do right around the condo building, including a snack and gift shop, a beach bar, and surf board and kayak rentals. The condo room had everything we needed. There weren't many extras, though, like boogie boards, frisbees or beach toys. They do have three small beach chairs. The king bed was comfy and the kitchen was stocked adequately with utensils, etc. The property management company was very nice and responsive.

Enjoyed our stay here, great location, property is a bit dated, basically had all of the amenities we needed. Close to bus stop. For those who have a late day flight time, it would be nice if there would be a place available to store luggage. Yard House nearby had a great happy hour.

We've been staying in this unit for almost 10 years since 2013 or so. At first, the price was attractive and the unit was a bit run down, which was a fair trade off. However, the owner nicely renovated the unit in 2015 or so, which made the steady price increases easier to swallow. But it's now 2022 and the unit is getting to the point where it needs some TLC. First of all, the main bed's mattress is getting old and uneven. It's not yet "bad" but we could tell the difference from 2015. Second, a lot of the unit's electrical outlets don't work, perhaps around half. Third, although the unit itself is clean, pigeons have now taken over the balcony to the point that they've build a nest behind the air conditioning unit. Not surprisingly, the balcony is littered with bird droppings and the balcony is no longer a nice place to relax. Fourth, the toilet flushes very weakly, sometimes forcing you to hold down the handle until the entire flush has completed. Fifth, the wi-fi was slow and spotty. These types of shortcoming were acceptable when the price was below comparable hotel room. But as the price has increased, it's getting harder to overlook the problems.

The location of course remains stellar and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, the owner needs to address these issues to ensure this unit remains an attractive place to stay.

Beautiful place with a great view. Countless places to eat and shop within a short walk. The beach is beautiful but not he best for swimming. I would recommend calling ahead for parking reservations. Overall a perfect place to stay!

This was exactly what we were looking for. The location is perfect! The staff at the Waikiki Shore was always helpful and friendly. We were impressed with the security. But, again the location was perfect for going to the beach, going out and enjoying the nightlife, or just relaxing and enjoying the view from the balcony. We hardly had to use our rental car because everything is right there!

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It is a little dated but it met our expectations. The view from the lanai was great. Although it’s a low floor the ocean view was very good. Our biggest criticism was the bird poop! The lanai is covered with bird poop and there are pigeons nesting on the lanai. It was so bad that my wife refused to sit out there even though we loved the view.

This is an excellent property especially if you want to be close to the beach with a view. This is our third time in this Condo.

Loved the sunset view and location, close to great places to eat and shop. Enjoyed the Steak Shack. Lovely condo but a little tired. The swimming out front was very difficult but found the other side of the park the coral had been cleared which made walking in possible.

The property representative met us in the lobby at the exact time arranged. They were nice enough to accommodate our request for an early check-in. After escorting us to our apartment, she clearly explained access procedures and other basic information about the property. The apartment had been thoroughly cleaned just prior to our arrival and everything was in good working order. We were very satisfied on all accounts.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. The view from the lanai was beautiful. Overall this condo was exactly what we were looking for. We have previously stayed in hotels, which were great but the condo was more suited to our needs. It was great having the kitchen so we could prepare meals if we chose and the full fridge for storage. The unit was well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies and even some beach items. It was nice to have the washer and dryer to use as needed. The unit itself did have a few quirks but nothing that couldn’t be overlooked for that spot in paradise.

The location was perfect. Right on the beach. The lanai is exactly as pictured with a beautiful view. Very close to shopping and bus lines.

We had our third stay at Waikiki Shores and love this complex. The staff at Ali’i are very accommodating and pleasant. The unit was perfect, except there were a few of the vertical blinds to the lanai missing but that wasn’t a real issue. Definitely recommend Waikiki Shores, right on the beach, literally, and using Ali’i makes it very easy.

This condo is in a great location. We rented a car and parked in Ft. Derussy parking. We got the card for a monthly rental ($170) versus paying by the day. On a weekly rental, this was easiest option for come/go.

We didn't swim in front of the condo but could have. We drove out of town each morning to the stunning beaches on the North and East shores. Then would head back to the action for dinner. This is what we were looking for (quiet and action). Great restaurants everywhere and in walking distance.

The condo was nice, clean, great bed. We prepared breakfast each day and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked.

Moments after we arrived first night in (after long flight) we left our room with our cell phones inside. I had only opened the door once and didn't know the code. We went down to security who quickly called the rental company (after hours so used emergency number)who issued a one time code on the spot for us to get in. Great customer service!

Overall nice rental, 2nd floor was great (didn't have to use stairs). Being next to the park was nice, just be aware that its a public park so people are around quite a bit. Nothing wrong, just know its not that private resort feel.

We would definitely stay again.

Waikiki Shore was a great holiday condo for us (family of 3). Check in was made super easy with Rita meeting us at the property and helping us out when we had an early flight arrival. The condo itself is perfect: large balcony with ocean views, well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. It was the perfect spot for watching the fireworks. It’s only s few steps to the beach and the shops are just a short walk away. I would highly recommend this condo and Ali’i Beach Rentals.

Great location on the beach. Lots of places within an easy walk and beautiful sunset view from the beach below. The management sent someone out when we were unable to connect to the internet. The connection was unsecured, which could be a problem if someone is expecting to work. The bed was comfortable, although there is a light outside the window which stays on all night and the shades are not blackout, which would have been helpful. All in all, a great week and we would rent this unit again.

This is a great place to be for exploring Waikiki and Oahu. Turtles right outside by the jetty, birds singing all day long, even a few rainbows to be seen. On top of that, Ali’i Beach Rentals did a great job addressing our concern about the pullout couch and making it right. All around highly recommend this place.

To start off, our flight was delayed getting us into Honolulu late. Gaby sent an Associate to meet us with the keys to the condo!! Great Service. The view was the BEST from the Lanai. Condo was clean and neat, lots of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans, tools, silverware and other small appliances.
I am in the furniture business so I would also say the bedroom furniture was nice quality with lots of storage. The KING SIZE MATTRESS was the best sleep ever!!! I had to pull back the sheets to see what brand and style it was, of course, it was I very nice SIMMONS BEAUTYREST PLUSH. Almost the same that I have at home. :)
My Family of 4 had a great time, we found the condo to be so comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Thank You GABY!!! you answered all of my questions on the phone and it was absolutely perfect!!

It was an awesome experience! The location is perfect. Check-in and out is easy. We have everything that we need. If there's one thing that can be improved on it would be the a/c. Other than that,I'll definitely come back and would highly recommend this rental to family and friends!!!

We have vacationed this location for a number of years and cannot say enough good about our experience there. Not really a complaint however, the laundry area could use a good deep cleaning to eliminate "dust bunnies" (a safety/fire concern and I am pretty fussy).

The perfect base to hit the shops and restaurants. Or walk down the steps and you're on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness. The sheets appeared slept in, towels in the cupboard were damp and the cups needed a good scrub. There was some plumbing issues with the toilet and the bathroom shower needs an upgrade. These are the only reasons I have not given 5 stars. Other than that it was the ideal place, looking forward to our next stay!

This is our second year in Waikiki Shore #204. Like last year our overall experience was excellent. We particularly like the location of #204 as it has good view and no elevators are required being only one floor up.

this unit was very nice and quite pratical, right by the beach and a nice park, so quiet at night! the beach is narrow and crowded, and there are plenty of stores and restaurant around, so, if that's what you like, this is a good place, this was not our thing, but again, the unit was really nice!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Shore condo. The location was wonderful; we enjoyed our ocean view & staying 'on the beach'. We also appreciated the condo's proximity to Lewers Street, great restaurants & shopping. The condo was clean, was well equipped, and had washer/dryer within the condo. We would recommend this condo & would consider staying on a return trip!

The unit is nice and the location is good but the nearly $200 we needed to pay for off site parking was disappointing.

Great location at our preferred end of Waikiki Beach. Apartment exactly as described. Easy access to island transport, touring pickup (used the turning circle of Outrigger Reef, right next door). Lanai faces the sunset, so apartment can get hot in the afternoons - draw the blinds, turn on the airconditoning and there's no problem. The easy access to the beach and beach bars and eateries can make the apartment a bit noisy later at night and early in the morning, as people use the park for exercising. This wasn't a huge problem for us!
Free WiFi was appreciated. We followed instructions for trash removal, and it was collected each time.
The beach chairs that were provided where welcome on our beach days.
Overall we could not fault our communications with Ali'i, our reception and orientation or the location and condition of the apartment. For an older apartment block, it has been very well maintained.
Only small hiccup we had was trying to use the phone to book some local tours. We followed the instructions in the manual (being international visitors), but found that the local calls, being advertised as free, would not connect. The concierge downstairs in the lobby was friendly and helped us take care of these bookings.

We were very happy with our stay at Waikiki Shores unit 204. (We made sure that it was actually unit #204 as some do not specify exactly which unit and that is very important). The views are better than the photos. Great location and great condition. The sofa bed was very comfortable and it had a very nice King size bed in bedroom. Everything worked great. For a group of 3+ it is the absolute best choice at a reasonable price. We would stay there again for sure!

This is an excellent place to stay in Waikiki. It is on the beach with all beach activities including surfing, puddle boarding, pictures with parrots, restaurants, shops, etc. Large balcony with great view to ocean, park and sunset. Nice and clean place. It is only a 2nd floor, so no need to wait for an elevator. Management is responding quickly if any need.

It is the first time we had used this type of rental and found it to be very good and convenient to the beach, restaurants and an easy stroll to the main shopping in Waikiki. It had a great verandah with good views of the beach and park.

A fantastic location and facilities. The place was spacious, has a separate living and dining room, a full kitchen, a large balcony overlooking both the beach and the park. The sun sets right out in front of the balcony. There are a number of take out food places underneath plus board rental in front. Clean and fully stocked with beach gear.

Overall we were very satisfied with our accommodation and value at the Waikiki Shore Condo #204. The only small issue was no lock on the Lanai sliding door. We will definitely be back with Alii Beach Rentals.

This location was wonderful. The view is truly what you see in the photo. It was a really centralized spot where we were close to a lot of different things. We had a nice view from the lanai. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. The sofa bed had a very comfortable mattress. The only thing we would change would be to have some type of shade to use on the lanai when the sun came around in the afternoon. The heat made it too intense to sit out there until the sun went down, but we loved it first thing in the morning! I would not hesitate to return to this location.

We had a wonderful stay at Wakiki Shores! The view from the balcony was breathtaking and just as the pictures depicted. The unit was clean and well-furnished! The only hiccup was the parking as our arrival was around 11 pm. However, we got it all straightened out the following morning and had no other problems. Chloe was an invaluable resource and made herself available to help with anything...even just a dinner recommendation! The space was plenty for our family of 4. Thank you Ali'i Beach Rentals for helping us to have a memorable Hawaiian vacation!

We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks and would definitely recommend to anyone. The unit was clean and met all of our needs. No need to wait for an elevator as it is on 2nd floor and the beach was practically right outside the door! The partial ocean view was beautiful from our lanai and enjoyed many sunsets from there.

The location is literally steps away from the beach and is furnished with everything you need for the beach, except an umbrella (you can rent or beach or buy one for $20 at ABC). Based on reviews about it being 'dated' worried me a little, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely not the Ritz, but it's not bad. Bed was a little hard, but everything was clean. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking breakfast, lunch, and simple dinner.
The only word of caution is that the unit is on 2nd floor so you do get a lot of noise and the lighting shines through the curtains. Check in/out was easy. Would definitely recommend this place to 2-3 adults (it'd be tight with four adults), but ok for 2 adults / 2 kids. Hope to stay here again next year!
