Spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building are currently in progress. Work for this unit and its stack has been completed; however, neighboring units are still undergoing repairs. Please be advised that intermittent construction noise may still occur during work hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), and occasional activity may be visible or heard from nearby units. The overall building project is currently scheduled for completion sometime in 2027, though timelines are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen delays.

What a fabulous view! We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the water view! The location is great and so close to the lagoon, the beach and everything you need. The building has a coffee shop, restaurant and mini mart which were also great to have so close. The management responded quickly to questions and provided great customer service. It was also great that the unit had air conditioning! We would stay here again!

Highly recommended building and apartment. Great location nice and central to all amenities. Parking can be used $1 per hour at the marina which was handy too. Not noisy either considering how close to main roads either. Fireworks on location too on Friday night were great too. Great for a family.

We enjoyed our stay and the view. The unit was clean and had what we needed. The kitchen could use 1 cookie/baking/sheet pan and a few containers with lids for leftovers. Also, at least 1 larger glass bowl to re-heat or microwave an entree in. Other than that, we would definitely rent again

I have arranged vacation rentals in Waikiki through Ali'i Beach Rentals before, and this experience at the Ilikai has set a new level of enjoyment. The 2br, 2 bath unit is on the 17th floor facing the harbor with beautiful sunset views. It was in prime condition, clean, neat and tidy. Plenty of amenities provided as listed in the unit description.
Located about 1 mile walk to the center of Waikiki activities and restaurants, it was a perfect combination of quiet neighborhood and easy access to what we enjoy in Waikiki.
As with previous rentals, Ali'i provides all needed information in timely communications. Any time I had a question, it was responded to within minutes during work hours, or early the next day.
I highly recommend Ali'i for your Waikiki rentals, and this unit.

This was a great place to stay with our family of 4. Everything was as advertised, we had no complaints. It is a very spacious and roomy condo for four adults. It is in a great location with a great view! The only annoyance was the hotel workers from next door picketing at 6:30 am a couple days.

The condo is beautiful and has an amazing view of the ocean and downtown Honolulu. The building amenities are very nice. The restaurant there is great! The only downfall was the noise from the city. I was surprised how much of the traffic and city noise we could hear from that high up. I’m a light sleeper and it kept me up at night and woke me up in the morning. Great location if you want to be between Honolulu and Waikiki. It was a great size for the 4 of us.

Great location and views. Some electrical outlets did not work but we were able to keep electronics charged using extention cord in bedroom. Parking is not included but we found parking for $1 an hour at the lot just over the bridge.

We stayed in this property for 4 nights. We were a little concerned when we walked in because it was very hot but once the ACs started going it was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was one of the best stocked rentals I have stayed in. We had all of the kitchen items we needed and more! The only issue I had was the doors to the bedroom with the twin beds are glass (clear at the top, frosted the rest of the way.) Because of this, if someone was sleeping in there and the lights in the living room or kitchen were turned on, it was pretty bright. I would recommend bringing a sleeping mask if you are going to sleep in that room.

Amazing views from this spacious and comfortable unit. Lots of privacy at the end of the hallway. The building is just far enough away from the craziest part of Waikiki but an easy walk to get there when you want to. The beach is much quieter here and what we liked best. Loved the portable beach chairs, so convenient having them. Nice to have two pool options as well. The unit could use some minor repairs but nothing serious. I would recommend this property.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay. Great location & wonderful views (including sunsets). Kids really enjoyed the pool and a very reasonable walk to the Hilton lagoon & beach. Be sure to bring water shoes for the beach since it's very rocky - but that's pretty normal for Oahu.
This is an older building and some things could use updating, but you're not in Hawaii to stay in your hotel room. The value of the view and location is excellent when comparing to newer facilities. Took a little time to figure out the lights/fans, but we figured it out. Didn't bother us enough to call the management company.
Only real downside was that being an older space, there's not a lot of power outlets - plus lamps that can't be plugged in since I couldn't find an outlet nearby. Definitely not a deal breaker, but that could've been a little more convenient if there was an extra power strip or two.
Valet parking was very prompt every time except once (which I found impressive). Only other complaint is that the main restaurant downstairs (Cinnamons) was closed still due to covid. But the small cafe was good and you're really close to the Hilton so believe me...you won't starve.

We had a great stay at this condo. Since it is a corner unit, there are great views. It was clean and comfortable for our family of four. These are picky things but it would have been nice to have some chairs on the balcony looking out towards the city. Also, there were a few maintenance issues we ran into. One of them (the tv) was fixed the same day. The other was a non working disposal and the balcony doors were very sticky and difficult to open. But overall, this is a great condo in a very convenient location.

This rental was perfect for my family of four. We like being together, but need space and this condo accommodated that. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and the kitchen was well equipped. The living area had ample seating and a nice TV, though we didn't use it much. The dining area was comfortable as well. The lanai was the most used feature (other than the beds). The view of the sunset, marina and the Pacific overall was beautiful.

The condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Very cool that the 2nd bathroom could be used as en suite for the bedroom with twin beds so it was like 2 en suite bedrooms. The view of the sunset from the balcony was gorgeous at night. Lots of great dining within walking distance. And the staff of Ali'i Beach Rentals was very helpful. We had the best time in Oahu. The place was beautiful, clean and plenty of room. It took awhile to figure out all the remotes...lights, fans, AC but once we did all was good. The only thing would be the ac is only in the living room. The bedrooms are hot when doors are shut. We used the fans to have the living room air blow into the bedrooms during the day, then at night it was cooled off enough to use the fans at night. We had a fantastic time! The resort next to us did have protesters early in the morning(6:30) being really loud but we were up already so didn’t affect us and has no impact on rental agency.

This condo was very very nice. It was an end unit so we had a wrap around lanai was very quiet....I liked being away from Waikiki Beach a bit but I think my granddaughter would have preferred to have been right on the beach. This building is about 1/4 mile from the beach and unless you feel like walking with all your stuff, you will have to drive and then find a parking place! There were some issues with the condo..like the sliding glass door not being on the track but my 17 year granddaughter was able to fix that. If she couldn't have, we would not have had access to the lanai facing the ocean. The bath/shower combo is the master bedroom was unusable as the door was not on the sliding track and the regulator for the hot and cold water was inoperable. However, since there were just two of us, I used the bath/shower in my granddaughter's room. All in all I would rent this again but probably would have called to have all the broken things fixed if we were staying a long time. I do think that the property management company needs to vet the operability of things in the condo on a regular basis. Clearly that had not taken place and the cleaning staff didn't make them aware of the issues.

A great apartment in a great location. The complex itself is a little dated compared to those more recently built with the pool area poor by modern standards and the on-site restaurant below par. It does however have all the essentials for longer stays such as a laundry room. If you intend to use the beaches and multitude of good nearby restaurants and bars (as we did) then this a great spot to base yourself.
It is an easy stroll into central Waikiki or to the Ala Moana Shopping Center and has a good ABC Store across the road. All the activity companies we used picked us up from outside the hotel (or very near by). We can recommend 'Snorkeling with the Turtles' (Hawaii Nautical) and the Circle Island Tour (Oahi Private Tours) and Golf at Turtle Bay Golf Club.

Rental Experience was Solid. Property is a little dated decor wise, but we knew this and we made the call to stay here as it was considerably less then other 2 Bedrooms and it suited our family of 5. Views amazing and nice to be on the 'shady side' in the morning. Not unique to this property but a check in prior to 3pm would be nice. If you are looking to be in central Waikiki, the Ilakai is probably a little further north than you'd want to be.

We stayed at this rental because it was right next door to the Hilton Hawaiian Village where the meeting I had in October of 2018 was held. The space was like the picture. Maybe a little outdated in terms of furniture but it was perfect for where we needed to be located. A wonderful coffee shop on Lobby level and Cinnamons Bar and Restaurant. I would recommended this place for anyone traveling for an extended business or family stay. Air conditioning in bedrooms not the best, that would be my only negative thing to say.

Great location with stunning views. Clean and well equipped but property a little tired. Plug sockets need work as most loose, some would not keep plugs in and some of wall plates coming away from wall. Peeling paint and broken mirror in other areas. Less spacious then brochure has you believe.

Enjoyable stay in the centrally located clean apartment. After a comfortable night in Queen Sized bed, waking up watching the surf roll in and with a marina view the unit was great. The bathrooms are starting to show their age, particularly the shower in the main bedroom. The TV was finicky, you need to ensure you only use the 'multi-purpose' remote to operate it or you will have difficulties. A better explanation in this for less tech-savvy guests would be useful. The kitchen in the unit was good, everything worked and there were enough plates etc to go around. Would stay again.

This was a great place to stay for our family during an international trip. Great location, close to lagoon, waikiki beach, food, etc all within walking distance. Short uber drive to airport. Property was well maintained and the view was great. The view is AMAZING! Harbor and Waikiki on one side of condo then views of downtown and mountains on the other side. Kitchen was well stocked (though we did not use). Very clean place with easy check in/check out process using their app. Communication is prompt also. If you are renting a car, know there is a $28/day valet parking fee. We also walked to many restaurants, beach, shopping. We would definitely rent from Alii again.

Condo was clean and tidy with plenty of space for a family of four. Air conditioning worked well. Walking distance to Ala Moana shopping centre, and lots of restaurants etc. nearby. Valet parking service is easy, quick and friendly if you have a rental car, and public bus stops right outside. View from the lanai was amazing - lovely to sit outside with a cold drink and watch the sun set. Quick, easy walk to the beach (no roads to cross for children). Children enjoyed the hotel pool too. Good information from the property management company, and everything (including WiFi) worked as it should. Really pleased with our choice of accommodation which we felt was much better value for money than a hotel room given the space and facilities we had. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Honolulu. Although we did not like the congestion, unfriendly locals, traffic and commercialized attitude of the town, we loved our hotel. The condo has a prime location with a stunning view from the balcony to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. The furniture was not comfortable but we did not time to sit down; the sliding door of the bedroom gave us a hard time, but it was tolerable' the mattresses were not the best ones but they were ok. What I am trying to say that if the company listened to visitors and took care of some details, this place would be PERFECT!
Be aware that the hotel offers only valet parking which is $28/day. If you do not want to drive all over the island travel to the remote areas, do not rent a car. Uber, trolley, buses, and taxis are all over the town. We regretted very much for renting a car and had to pay a lot of unnecessary money just for the rental/parking/parking tickets. Just ride the trolley and enjoy the city without dealing with the traffic, constructions, pedestrians and long red lights...

We were 2 couples and found 1710 perfect for our needs. Plenty of privacy in the condo and great location. 10-15 minute walk to the strip by beach or road, 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Center, on bus route and easy access to shops restaurants etc. Great views from the balconys and private enough to sit out and relax. Condo was a good size, clean, comfy beds, plenty of linen and towels, good kitchen only negative being no electric kettle (we like our instant coffee). Lagoon next door in front of Hilton, beach right there too. Restaurant downstairs was excellent - great staff great food and drinks and well priced. Would definitely recommend and would return to do it all again. Unable to access free wifi though?? Excellent holiday accommodation - thank you :)

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve à Waikiki. On aurait pas pu mieux choisir que ce condo situé à proximité de la plage, des activités de toutes sortes et des magasins. Le condo est spacieux, très propre et contient le nécessaire pour se faire à manger et s'y reposer. La vue du 17 ème étage est superbe! La gérance/propriétaire a répondu immédiatement à nos requêtes avec soin et rapidité. Nous avons fait un tour de ville en autobus avec un guide et la visite de Pearl Harbour, excellent tour. Polynésien Center situé au nord de Honolulu, un MUST! Très bons restaurants à proximité! Je recommande définitivement ce condo. Aloha!

My husband and I was very happy with the location and condition of this roomy 2 bd/ 2ba unit. Wish we had more time to enjoy the grounds. Great restaurant downstairs. Best to use valet services for the entire stay. New hardwood floors looks better than pictured here and AC was cold when needed.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Illikai hotel! The room was exactly same as the photos, very clean, and well maintained. The harbor view from the big window was just superb, looking the panoramic view every morning when we wake up was a great experience. Very easy access on foot to Alamoana shopping mall, and the downtown area if we take the bus. The area was a lot quieter than the crowded waikiki main area, and it was a good point. A few minute walk to a beautiful beach, and we were even able to see the fireworks at the Hilton on Friday night. (not from the room, we needed to go down to the Hilton beach area, but it takes just a few minutes.) The kitchen was equipped with a rice cooker, a big dish washer, many clean nice dishes and bowls. We really had a great time staying here, we definitely recommend to friends and we would like to come back again if we have another chance to visit Hawaii. Thank you for everything!

Really good rental in Waikiki. Smaller than appears in the photographs, so was a bit cramped for 4 people. Beautiful view of the marina, very convenient $1/hour parking in a public lot across the street, we never had a problem getting a spot. Only drawback was the A/C is only in the main room, not in the bedrooms, and didn't circulate well. Otherwise, very satisfied with the room, property management, ease of rental, and responsiveness of management.

THE HOTEL AND THE TWO RESTAURANTS WERE LOVELY. THE CONDO WAS GREAT AND PURE HEAVEN. THE STAFF AT THE HOTEEL WERE RUDE, BUT THAT WAS BECAUSE WE WERE NOT THEIR GUESTS, BUT HAD ARRANGED THIS FROM THE COMPANY. THEY CAN BE IGNORED AND THE POOL PEOPLE AND OUR MANAGEMENT COMPANY WAS GREAT. THE AMENITIES WERE PERFECT AND ALTHOUGH WE LIVE IN MILLION DOLLAR HOMES AND PENTHOUSES, IN LA AND PALM SPRINGS FELT VERY COMFORTABLE. ASK THE TWIN BEDS BE MOVED TOGETHER. MUCH MORE ELEGANT. I shared this unit with my friends.
2 beds room with 2 bath were helpful for us cause we were with 4 years old daughter and son.
Living room is big enough for kids to play around.
I love the view from this unit. Nice ocean front and never get bored!
If I could request, I wanted hand shower in bathroom with no tub.
Anyway I really want to go back here again.

This place had great views, and a fantastic location. Close to Ala Moana Beach and sopping center. The master bed was a little wobbly, but all the other furnishings were great!

The stay here was really wonderful. The unit was spacious and ocean veiw was wonderful along with great scenery from lobby area. It is walking distance to lots of places. Only one small problem that some of the face towels wasn't so clean along with the rugs in the bathroom. Other than that almost perfect. Will be coming back to vacation there again.

We had a great view over the beach and marina. It was nice being just out of the main hustle and bustle of Waikiki but a comfortable walk to the Waikiki shops and the Ala Moana Centre. The wireless internet access was good and the beds comfy. A very nice relaxed start to our holiday

You never know when you rent online what you will be getting. We were very impressed with our experience and rental of room 1710. Very well organized, very guest oriented and attentive to our needs. Staff on site were more than accommodating. Would suggest it to anyone! Wish we were still there!

four adults enjoyed this property, it's location, cleanliness, brightness. The view is terrific, looking over the pool and marina from the front balcony and the adjoining hotel and street activities from the one off the master bedroom. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and a glass of wine watching the activities in the evening. It is well equipped although the only food items were salt and pepper so future renters should be aware of that when they arrive. We would definitely stay here again.

This unit #1710 has everything you need away from home. The beds were comfortable, great WiFi connection, access to telephone, cooking facilities, plenty of towels, hair dryer, good size TV, great views, clean and enough room for a family of 4. It is however a good walk into Waikiki but you can catch a trolley once you work out where to catch them and what side of the road. It is very close to Ala Moana shopping center and only a short walk. We rented this apartment through Ali's Beach Rentals. They were fantastic. They didn't require a deposit which concerned me however all went according to plan with no problems. There is a booking desk in the foyer of the hotel if you want to book day trips through them. All staff at this facility were friendly and helpful. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs which has great food. Thank you Ali Beach Rentals for you help and efficient process of our booking:) Oh I must mention the Chief's Luau, the BEST food and entertainment, you must go and Hanauma Bay was wonderful. Looking forward to coming again in the future:)

Condo is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Lanai provides wonderful view of Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and sea. Valet is $28/day. Happy to find beach chair, 2 boogie bds and 2 straw mats for beach. Great time was had by all!

We stayed a week in this apartment in March and it was perfect. We have 2 kids, so the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were great. The views are lovely and it is great to sit on the balcony and watch the sun setting. The apartment was very clean and the floors have been changed to a floating wood floor (so no more problem carpets as mentioned in previous posts). The kitchen is well stocked with all you need. The wifi was excellent. The air con worked well.
The service we received from Ali'i was fantastic. Nothing was a problem and they were always quick with replies. A very special thanks to Shelly and Barry for all their help!!
