Building Notice: The 6th Floor renovations are scheduled to commence on Monday, May 4, 2026, and continue through September 2026. Contractors will be working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and construction-related noise may be heard during these hours. Please be mindful of posted construction signage and barriers, which are in place to help guide you safely through affected areas. **The pool, fitness center, hospitality lounge, and recreation deck will remain open and available for use throughout the renovation period**

This elegant condominium hotel resort located at 229 Paoakalani Avenue in Waikiki offers hotel-quality amenities and is perfect for your anniversary, honeymoon or family getaway! From this convenient location, you can stroll to Waikiki’s finest beaches, enjoy great shopping and restaurants, visit the Zoo, Aquarium or relax in the lush green spaces of Kapi’olani Park.
This one bedroom condo has a full kitchen, large bathroom, high speed WiFi, and LCD television.
From your private lanai you can gaze out over the city and mountains during the day, and watch the vibrant city lights of Honolulu come alive at night.
The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a comfortable king bed in the private bedroom, and a full sofa sleeper in the living room.
Waikiki Sunset amenities include a heated swimming pool, sauna, and outdoor picnic area with barbecue grills. There is also an on-site convenience store for last minute necessities, 24-hour security and an activities desk to help plan your island adventures.

-Beach chairs, boogie board, and one cooler
-Bed linens (including one set of linens and one blanket for each bed), bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels
-Dishes, silverware, and cookware (including a coffee maker, tea kettle, rice cooker, and blender)
-Hair dryer, iron, and ironing board
-Starter condo supplies, including dish soap, dish sponge, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, paper towel, and toilet paper (guests are responsible for replenishing supplies during their stay)
CHECK-IN IS 3:30PM — CHECK-OUT IS 10:30AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

Our stay in 3011 was quiet had a great view of the mountains from the 30th floor. Our unit stayed cool all day as we were on the shady side of the building. Bed was comfortable and supportive. Kitchen had very basic utensils and cookware which was adequate. The ice maker in the freezer was a pleasant surprise. Enjoyed the beach chairs, there were also 2 umbrellas, snorkels and boogie boards. The only downside which can’t easily be avoided in Waikiki was the pool was shaded by the building, so we don’t use it much. This location was quiet but super close to the beach and main strip in Waikiki.

We had a great stay at this property, within a 5min walk to the quieter end of Waikiki and many restaurants. The unit itself was clean, beds were comfortable, and well-equipped with various needs for a day at the beach. The included parking, on-site gym and pool were huge bonuses. We'd certainly stay again.

Location location! Unit has a great mountain view and a quick 2 block walk to the beach. Price was a fraction of other places and included a parking spot.
The unit was clean, comfortable and met our needs of cooking a few meals and grabbing good nights of sleep.
Access to BBQ grills was nice as well.
Everything was easily walkable for fun eats and relaxing in the sun. The unit did have beach chairs and boogie boards to use.
We would stay again.
If there was 1 negative it was the occasional wait for an elevator even though there are 4. Most of the time it wasn't an issue.

The views from this location were so amazing,
I did expect the carpet in the halls being pretty bad reading previous reviews but this was not a problem for us. For us having beautiful views, a good parking place to leave the car, and walking distance to Waikiki was so worth it.

This one bedroom condo was a great place for a family of four. The pull out sofa (at least a double if not a queen) and the king sized bed were both very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, including a coffee maker, rice cooker, and an automatic ice maker in the freezer! The size of the bathroom, living room, and bedroom were nice. The patio was amazing...a great mountain view and 2 entrances to the porch (sliding door from the bedroom and door from the living room). There are four elevators in the building and they worked well....several times we had to wait but no more than 5 minutes. And there was plenty of parking in the garage and all the spots were close to the elevators. The pool was nice....shallow but my kids enjoyed it. Plenty of lawn chairs to relax on. The location of the building itself is a bit off the main drag but that was fine with us. It was close to the beach so we could walk but we don't go to Waikiki Beach often since we drive around the island. It was a bit of a walk to our favorite place on Kuhio Ave....Ice Monster! Overall a nice place to stay.

Beautiful place, with a fantastic view of the canal and mountains. One of the big advantages was having included parking, since that can get quite pricey. I love how it was within walking distance to Waikiki and all the shops.

Great location, 1.5 blocks to the beach. Amazing view of the mountains. Unit was clean & well maintained. Bed was comfortable. The pull out was stiff. Kitchen has the basics but lacked some tools you might want if you cook. I recall my wife really wanting a vegetable peeler.

It was an easy check in and we were impressed with the Mountain View. Our unit was located down the hall near the laundry facilities and trash chute which made it convenient. The bed was comfortable and the AC efficient. There were sufficient linen and towels. Although we did not cook in the unit, there seemed to be sufficient supplies to do light cooking. We did not have any hand soap so had to buy our own. On our first stay we noticed the toilet did not flush well and we eventually had to plunge it to find a toilet paper holder lodged in side. Once removed the toilet worked fine.
The building is in a great location away from hectic Waikiki but close enough to walk to it, the park, the beach and local restaurants. The included parking was a huge bonus. The property management was very clear on instructions before we arrived and after. We would stay here again.

This condo has a great view for sitting outside and relaxing. The location is an easy walk to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and beaches with break walls for the Littles. If you’re looking for an extended stay and cooking in the unit, make sure to get cooking essentials as salt and pepper are the only spices and there is no type of cooking oil or hot pads in the unit. Overall, the amenities and location are great, especially if you prefer to walk instead of driving.

Great place to stay. We stayed for 2 weeks and it served as a great home base. The laundry is next door. The elevators from the garage take to directly to your floor. Appreciated that the building is secure. You need a "key" to get to the elevators from the garage and also you need to register with security upon arrival. The free parking was helpful as parking can go up to $60/Day in Waikiki. We had an issue with the towel bar and shower curtain rod upon arrival. Sent an email on Sunday fully expecting someone to get back to us the following day but maintenance contacted us that day and the issue was resolved by the time we returned to the condo that evening. We have rented through Ali'i before and have always had great service. Furniture is a little dated but we mainly used the condo for sleeping and some meals so it wasn't an issue.

If you want to stay near the most happening area in HNL than this is it. This building is literally one block from the famous Waikiki beach. All shopping, amazing restaurants, grocery stores are a very short walk away. this apartment has amazing mountain views and overall the amenities are really good. For a family of 4 we highly recommend this place.

What a great place! Perfect size for us. Bed was very comfortable. Condo had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Rooms were all very clean. Location was great. We liked being near the park. Easy commute to H1. Would not hesitate to rent this condo again!
