ILIKAI BUILDING NOTICE: May 29, 2026
Spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building are currently in progress. Work for this unit and its stack has been completed; however, neighboring units are still undergoing repairs. Please be advised that intermittent construction noise may still occur during work hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), and occasional activity may be visible or heard from nearby units. The overall building project is currently scheduled for completion sometime in 2027, though timelines are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen delays.

Ali'i Beach Rentals Include:
-Beach chairs, boogie board, and one cooler
-Bed linens (including one set of linens and one blanket for each bed), bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels
-Dishes, silverware, and cookware (including a coffee maker, tea kettle, rice cooker, and blender)
-Hair dryer, iron, and ironing board
-Starter condo supplies, including dish soap, dish sponge, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, paper towel, and toilet paper (guests are responsible for replenishing supplies during their stay)

Note: This is a legal one bedroom condo because of its size and full kitchen, however it does not have a wall and door that separates the bedroom from the living room.

The unit that we stayed in was very clean and included all the amenities listed on the website. The view was amazing from the 19th floor and great for viewing the sunset. Laundry room was close by and easy to use. Quiet and the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Close to Ala Moana. We didn’t use the valet but there was a parking lot next door with $1/hour parking and monthly parking $150. Daily free parking next to the beach between 5am-10:30pm.

Room was everything I expected. Loved the beach supplies. Location was great. Self-parking was very limited outside of hotel property and managed by the city and had a tow company that would tow you in a heartbeat! $45 a day parking for hotel valet and $1 hour for city parking behind hotel. Really only complaint is the tv needs upgraded to a smart tv and air conditioner had hard time keeping up at times if blinds were not closed at all times. Overall pleased.

The condo was perfect for the 3 of us, it fit us all perfectly. The sunsets from the lanai were absolutely stunning and we spent every one outside. The layout and furnishings fit very well and were comfortable. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. We would book here again.

This rental served as a great pick given its proximity to beaches, pools, and work functions. The rental was what we expected based on the listing. As a couple who cooked multiple meals we were very happy with the kitchen supplies. Lots of pot and pans, storage containers, and kitchen appliances. Our only recommendation is that the knifes could use a sharpening. The starter supplies were perfect and the beach chairs are a huge plus. We brought our own cooler, but the cooler they provide as well is a great feature for your beach outings. Window air conditioners can sometimes be a pain, but we found the room to be a very comfortable temperature. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, however we were surprised there is no light on the balcony. We played cards one evening outside and turned on most inside lights so we could see, which surprisingly worked very well.

Overall I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

The view of the harbor is beautiful, the kitchen cabinets and appliances have been updated, which was really nice. There is plenty of storage space, but the closet doors need to be replaced, and the unit could use a coat of paint, however this did not impact our stay or comfort. One side note, if you are like us and like to watch TV lying in bed, the couch is a bit in the way. We would have liked the TV hung a bit higher, but this is not the same for everyone.

We stayed 6 nights here and then 8 nights at the Hilton Hawaiian Villiage beside this porperty and other than the Hilton having better pools I wish we would have just stayed here the entire 2 weeks. Having the full kitchen is amazing and saves tons of time and money with kids. The walk to the lagoon and beach is basically the same as the Hilton (unless you are staying in the Rainbow tower). The facilities are clean and the restaurants (Cinammons and Dave's Icecream) are amazing.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we were a little concerned about the Ilikai however that changed the minute we walked in the door. The ocean/marina view is stunning to say the least. Everything is as pictured, and the hotel itself is in very nice shape, considering its age.
You almost don't want to leave the room, because the view is so nice. Never needed to use the air-conditioning during our stay. The airflow is perfect with the large balcony doors opened; we slept with the doors ajar all night long to allow for the beautiful cool breeze.
The only bad thing was that the floor was a little dirty, but it was taken care of as soon as I mentioned it to the Alii Beach Rentals; they made arrangements to have a cleaning crew come in the next day. Alii Beach rentals were very responsive to e-mails and texts, communication was not an issue.
The addition of a small table on the balcony would be wonderful, as well as a 2nd beach chair, for beach use.
Otherwise, everything was perfect, looking forward to staying here again.

Room was great! Great view! Great location! A few cons was paying for parking at the marina everyday, the pool closes too early at 7:30 and the trash not being thrown out from our floor. Trash was over flowing our whole stay. There is a beach chair and an umbrella that you are able to use. Wish there were 2 chairs for my husband and I but we made one chair work. Everything worked great as far as appliances and shower. We had a great supply of towels for everyone. I stayed with my husband and 3 little children. It was just enough for us. We were always out and about most of the day and at the end of the day when the children went to bed, the outside porch was so relaxing and quiet. Our room over looked the boat harbor and The Modern hotel’s pool.

The checkin process was easy! There was paid parking available which was great. The best part of the rental was the view! Had a lovely time with my partner drinking wine and watching the sunset. It was everything I had hoped for. The bed was comfortable. It was a close walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is not a 1 bedroom, it is a studio. It is very nice with a great view and big enough for 2 people.

While i loved the location of the property, its harbor view and ocean view from 19th floor, I didn't particularly enjoy the safety aspect where I was not able to lock the balcony door - and with a 3 yr old, i always was scared of him going to balcony that didn't look safe. Apart from that - the place was amazing, appliances and facilities were good.
