· Laundry: Wash and Dryer are in the garage.

· Parking: 2 standard-sized cars in the garage, 2 more parking on driveway. **NO parking on the street or road.

· Quiet Time: between 9:00 pm – 8:00 am. This is a residential community. Please be respectful of our neighbors. No parties, events, or large gatherings.

· Self-check-in via Smart Lock. Separate lockbox for emergency access.

· Guests have access to the entire house and the private backyard.

· For our out-of-town guests, we are 14 miles away from Kapolei (Costco, Target, shopping malls). It is recommended to have a rental car for easier and more timely travel.

Lovely stay. The house was clean, well appointed. Great for 6 people. Living area comfortable and great for tv watching. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils. Outdoor area was a plus and used. The location was a little far but it worked. We found really no restaurants nearby. We just stayed in the area and drove other places.

The community is amazing. The house is really clean and has everything you need to be comfortable through your day. Definitely need to hike to the top of the community and see the temple from the early 1600s. Also the wildlife and the mountains are breathtaking. the only thing I wish that there was a beach to hang out at, but unfortunately, the peaches in that area infested with homeless people so to drive to North Shore or other beaches it’s approximately an hour and 20 minutes which I did not mind nor did my family because of the breathtaking views.

This home is lovely. The location is quiet and secure. The home has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well equipped for a vacation home. The walking trails near the home were also top notch!
Our only concerns were the odd way the lights and fans were connected on the same circuit which made them difficult to use in various rooms. We notified the number provided for questions, but never received follow up on how to better use the system. Oh—and the large pasta pot was missing from the kitchen set! It made for a memorable pasta cooking experience!
Honestly, even with these minor concerns every thing else was perfect. We’d definitely stay here again, and enjoyed our time in Waianae.

The property was really nice. the gated community nested by the mountains in the back and the view to the water was really beautiful. The amenities were as described - new, clean, comfortable and usable to go to the beach and enjoy yourself. The only downside was that I misunderstood its proximity to some of the things I was looking to go to (my error) so it was a good 45-1.5 hours away from many areas we wanted to explore. I would stay here again.

This place is in a nice gated community, beach is about a 5 minute drive. The mountains around the community are majestic and beautiful.

Above and beyond what we expected. Breathtaking views! LOTS of privacy. This was a family trip of 4 and there was plenty of room for socializing and space for retreating alone.

Our family had such a fun time staying in Makaha. The beaches were amazing and being able to come home to a comfortable, roomy house was amazing. Loved having the a/c, a must in Hawaii. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend this house for those that want a special experience in Hawaii!

For Thanksgiving my husband and I decided to visit our daughter on the island. We needed a place to get away and cook together. This home in the Makaha Valley was perfect. We had everything we needed to cook our hearts away and a great patio with the most amazing view. Lovely secluded neighbor for morning and evening walks. All and all a great place to getaway.
