New Year's Eve festivities in Waikiki
Posted by Unknown | Tuesday, December 31, 2013

To ring in 2014 Waikiki will be having a fireworks show launched from a barge straight out from Waikiki Beach, starting just before midnight.

If you are staying at one of our vacation rentals then you are just a short distance from the best spot to watch the fireworks for free, the beach at Waikiki!  Get there early to claim a spot and bring a picnic of snacks to enjoy the show.  Our units at the Royal Moana have coolers and beach chairs for your use but they are on a first come basis.  If you don't want to sit on the beach, several of our units will have a view from the unit's lanai:  Foster Tower, the Waikiki Shore, Discovery Bay, the Ilikai Hotel, and many more!

Here's the view from our Ilikai Marina #888.  It sleeps 4 and and has a full kitchen so you can make your own celebratory meal and not have to spend the money it would cost to eat at a restaurant with a view for New Year's Eve!  If you don't have a unit with a view for this year's show, click here to book your Fireworks view unit for next year: http://www.aliibeachrentals.com/rental/query.html.
Happy New Year!  Or, as we say in Hawaiian: Hauoli makahiki hou!
