Free Hawaiian music and hula dancing at the House Without a Key in Waikiki
Posted by Unknown | Friday, December 27, 2013

If you are in the mood for some live music I recommend you stop by the House Without a Key.  It's located inside the Halekulani Hotel, just down the street from our vacation rentals in the Waikiki Shore, the Regency on Beachwalk, and the Royal Kuhio.  and  The music is played every day, outdoors, under an ancient tree with the ocean as a backdrop.  The best time is sunset, but anytime is beautiful to stop by.

It's also one of my go-to activities to take friends in town visiting.  Everyone loves it.  I've seen kids dancing around as their parents watch and couples get up and slow dance.  You can also get food and cocktails or just a dessert and coffee or tea.  I was there the other night with friends under a full moon and we requested one of our favorite songs and the musicians played it for us: Honolulu City Lights:

I hope you enjoy the music and setting as much as I do.  Let me know what you think!  Aloha.
